The new Disney adventure, "Wreck-It Ralph" (or "Ralph's devastating," his title in Spanish) is basically the "Toy Story" video game. In the world of "slot machines" or arcade games, all play their respective role in the universe, but when the store closes at night, continue their life partying, meeting in the "Central Station" or going to drink .

Ralph is the villain of the game giant "Felix Jr Fix it" tired of being the evil all the days of his life, destroying the building, the roof released by tenants and sleeping each night in a big dump of bricks. Meet the thirtieth anniversary of existence and his companions nor invite the grand celebration, resenting that "just there to destroy everything." So Ralph goes to a support group of video game villains, moderated by Clyde, one of the ghosts of "Pac Man" and where video game fans will recognize other characters like Bowser from "Mario Bros.", Dr . Robotnik in "Sonic the Hedgehog" or M. Bison in "Street Fighter".

Certainly, gamers will appreciate these little characters include several titles left and right, and surely titles like "Q Bert" will have a revival after the success of "Ralph", although none happen to be a background story or attraction . We are here to accompany Ralph in his mission to get a medal, with which he supposes his playmates begin to respect him and consider him a hero.

Through it decides to abandon his game and venture into other titles, starting with the feeling of the moment, "Hero's Duty", which turns upside in the world war quickly commanded by Sergeant Calhoun. An accident will lead to another game, "Sugar Rush", a world of sweets, biscuits and chocolates governed by racing cars. That's where he meets von Vanellope Schweetz, a girl scorned by all the others, because it is a "failure" technique - its pixels appear and disappear like a small computer virus.

Although the English voices are by John C. Reilly, Sarah Silverman, Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynch, in Latin America we have to Maria Antonieta de las Nieves "La Chilindrina" by the Spanish voice of Vanellope, something that simply does not work. Why? Because you can not get out of the mind that is the character of the Chilindrina, with the same peculiar voice, trying to breathe life into a completely different character. Turns out Rich Moore, the director of the animated film, was a fan of Chespirito, and thus hired the Lady of the Snows..

Another major flaw and almost unbearable custom animated projects in Latin America is not available to the public copies in English or the original language of the project. In Mexico, at least, there is a single copy in English, which I think is an insult both to the creators of the film, as the general moviegoers, especially considering the ever growing foreign population in the country.

But beyond my tantrum over the matter, "the devastating Ralph" is a charming film with typical Disney positive message, in this case on defend and fight for your ideals and what you think is right, and the power and the importance of friendship.

His success at the box office (opened in first place with about $ 50 million) is the result of its wide appeal both conceptually and in execution, as both the boys and their parents who grew up in the '70s and '80s will have something to appreciate because of its retro atmosphere that makes you relive the best of the arcade environment. It has things for children (such as "Hero's Duty"), and girls (in "Sugar Rush" - and in fact, two real games based on them would be a hit), but mostly anchored in the charisma of its star , Ralph, whom many may become attached and identified instantly. One more hit for Disney.

Mary and Max is a movie with a soul, a beautiful piece of animation done in stop motion and clay figures that move us so get your characters seem to become flesh and blood.
The film is based on a true-lived by the director Adam Elliot-but no longer has that air of story, a story unusual, beautiful and moving but dotted with irony and black humor that make it amazing.
It all starts in a sepia color Australia, Mary Daisy Dinkle, living in the suburbs of the city of Melbourne. Mary is a lonely 8 year old girl trapped in a sordid reality: an alcoholic mother and kleptomaniac, and depressive and indifferent father finds solace only practicing taxidermy in his garage.
Mary has no friends, she is 'weird' and ugly, and has a birthmark on his forehead from which mock all that is colored 'poop'. All I want is to have Mary someone you can share your feelings. One day he decides to look for a pen pal, and randomly pick a name in a telephone directory of North America that is in the office.
Fate wants the other person chosen is unusual. Max Jerry Horovitz, an obese middle-aged Jewish and attending sessions 'eaters anonymous' because of his addiction to chocolate. Max suffers from Asperger syndrome, a neurological disorder similar to autism. Lonely and depressed, you feel lost and intimidated in an obscure New York in black and white, a city too aggressive for a person like him.
As the film progresses, these two beloved characters get excited and move us with each of his letters, where they share their thoughts, experiences and feelings.

Through this exchange of letters between the two will emerge strong and sincere friendship which is consolidated over the years. In line with this relationship we see how both evolve and cope very differently to their own reality. Social rejection, suicide, depression, alcoholism, agoraphobia and other psychotic illnesses are some of the issues addressed in the film.
Another of the strengths that have Mary and Max is the exquisite and haunting beauty that the director uses a more narrative element, emphasizing the two worlds of the protagonists. In contrast to the world of Mary, which always provides a palette of browns, grays find his hometown Max, creating a universe in the film monochrome only punctuated by the color red, which incidentally appears to highlight elements full of symbolism, as the ruby lips of Mary the mother or the cap pompom Max.
Adam Elliot molded with a fierce humanism this artwork plasticine, telling the story of two people who make writing a shelter and friendship against all possible evils. In Mary and Max's illness, alcoholism, loneliness, misery, suicide, depression, psychotropic drugs, abandonment and cruelty ... but there is also friendship, warmth, tenderness and humor, humor in all colors.
I do not know if this beautiful story like everyone wants to have a moral story, but the director, without being banal speeches about friendship, opens the door to a world where deep connections can arise despite the distance and differences, showing that miracles exist and happen around us, often without us noticing.

Escape from Planet Earth' (or Escape from Planet Earth) is another animated films that await us in 2013. At first glance you will remember many movies we've seen, for example 'Planet 51' or 'Monsters vs. Aliens', but still it seems that the film will be quite entertaining.

'Escape from Planet Earth' is directed by Callan Bruncker to who will be his first major theatrical release. Cal has previously worked in the art department of several films among which 'Gru, Despicable Me', 'Number 9', 'Horton' or 'Jonah Hex'. As a filmmaker only has to his credit with a TV movie called 'Ninjamaica'. With all this we see that we will find a movie gags cargadita of use, rather than an attempt to film poetic aesthetic, especially if we add the presence of par-Cory Edwards Tony Leech ('The incredible but true story of Little Red Riding Hood 'and sequel) and screenwriters.

The story of 'Escape from Planet Earth' (or 'escape', we do not know as translated) tells us about what we can imagine. A brave, and some believed, hero of a distant planet is tricked by one of his enemies to answer a distress call on Earth, a very dangerous place, where, in the most absurd, is arrested and taken to Area 51 . His brother, real brains of his exploits, but physically frail, will be forced to come to the rescue falling for the same trick and meeting with a number of curious aliens and creatures captured there that will help you both escape and defeat the villain return home safely.

The film, of course a quite striking voice cast: Brendan Fraser, Sarah Jessica Parker, Jessica Alba, Rob Corddry, James Gandolfini and Craig Robinson. However, this information to us, unless we choose to see the film in its original version, we care little. It is likely that in order to attract more people to the theater in the dub is chosen by some famous actor homeland.

Note that in terms of the producers involved in 'Escape from Planet Earth' we are not with any great, since the main Rainmaker entertainment so far hardly been commissioned as major works of digital stories animated Barbie . Maybe so, but the trailer looks full of clichés, we should give him a chance. What do you think?
